Collin has 15 years of experience in the financial sector and another 8 years providing consulting and advisory services and project management to asset managers, family offices, corporates, state-owned enterprise and government agencies with respect to M&A activities, debt and equity capital markets, disputes and crisis management, and start-up / developmental initiatives.

Collin started his career in investment banking with focuses on M&A transactions, syndication loans and distressed asset investments involving restructuring and litigation work mainly in Asia, Australia, UK and South America. Notable work includes advisory for the disposal of non-performing loan portfolios held by a Malaysian bank, a Russian state-owned bank and the Central Bank of a South American country.

Collin has also advised members of the establishment in the Gulf, amongst others, in building the necessary regulatory and financial framework and ecosystem to support the internationalisation of RMB in Middle East. In recent years, Collin has also been involved in multi-billion asset-tracing and fraud recovery for two sovereign states as well as financial litigation.
