Chris has considerable experience in advising clients involved in cross-border disputes, with particular expertise in High Court litigation involving banking, funds and financial products disputes. He has an in-depth knowledge of the complex rules relating to jurisdiction and the enforcement of foreign judgments.

He advises clients on efficient debt recovery strategies and has provided English law assistance to various US law firms in a number of high-value US securities disputes.

Chris’s high-profile experience includes acting for Pakistan in a landmark banking dispute against India arising out of facts dating back to the 1940s. This case was selected by the Lawyer as one of the top 20 court cases to watch in 2019.
